Our degree programme focuses on the research and application of sustainable technologies and on shaping the energy transition and industrial transformation. Whether it's renewable energy, closed-loop raw material cycles, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly buildings or other green technologies, you will develop a deep understanding of how they work and their potential applications. During your studies, you will be able to develop and successfully implement sustainable concepts and innovative solutions for various areas. The focus is on key green technologies such as renewable energies and their utilisation and storage with hydrogen and battery technologies on the one hand and sustainable, efficient buildings and climate-neutral energy supply on the other. This opens up two of the most interesting professional fields of the future for you.

Specialisations
Sustainable technologies encompass a wide range of different measures to utilise resources more efficiently and reduce environmental impact. Green technologies can be found in renewable energy sources such as solar energy, wind power, recycling technologies and electromobility. In this specialisation, you will learn to understand and analyse sustainable development and develop solutions that meet the challenges of climate change and resource scarcity.
Comprehensive planning, networking, automation and data processing in technical building equipment
are essential for sustainable building planning.
You will learn to weigh up the optimal building materials and energy sources and to understand and coordinate the various trades during a construction or renovation phase.
Internship
The practical semester gives you the opportunity to get a taste of real, exciting projects at innovative companies. You will learn how the energy transition and the transformation of the economy work in practice and what makes the industry tick. You will also make important contacts that will make it much easier for you to start your career later on. You have a free choice! Nowhere are skilled workers more in demand than in the fields of renewable energies, green technology and sustainable building technology.
