Real research opportunities during the degree programme
There are many opportunities for you to carry out real research work as a student. Many seminars and modules are essentially based on research questions that companies bring to the university. This gives you the chance to apply the knowledge you have learnt directly and even gain new insights through joint research work. Regardless of whether you collect and analyse data as a student or assist with experiments - you are involved.
We also regularly offer students the opportunity to take part in scientific conferences. This year, for example, students from the Bachelor International Tourism Management programme were able to present their research findings on the future of work in tourism. And not just anywhere, but on the big stage at the International Tourism Exchange in Berlin.
In addition, you can, for example, base your final thesis on a research project or a specific research question and then work closely with your supervising professors to plan, carry out and present the research work.
